I went on a fantastic holiday to Iceland in the summer, and finally got around to doing something with the Lopi I bought. Aside from just sitting and cuddling the balls of wool...I'm obsessed with Iceland a little bit. This wool is possibly the warmest stuff I have ever known. Going to be a toasty bunny this winter  Smiley

Anyways, I have made a neckwarmer (need to get a shawl pin), a pair of mittnes, and a reversible hat. The neckwarmer is wonderfully modeled by my little puppy, Preston. And i despise photos because I always look simple and awkward, so apologies for the silly face. Its the only way to make it bearable  Undecided

And my "lion cub Collection" is actually for my sister's expectant friend. I made a hat and a wrap blanket, and my sister made her first crochet item, a matching lion toy for the bub.

C&C always welcome.

If you can crochet the pattern is on the lion brand site http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/ckc-lionWrap.html?r=1
The blanket part was a bit tedious, but for a first try at loop stitch i thought the mane came out looking really good.
My sisters just given it to her friend, and she adores it, so I feel like the time put in was well worth it now. Just hope I get a pic of the bub in it at some point  Smiley

I also adore that blanket (and your pup).  I have a little leo and it would have been so cool for her when she was a bit smaller!

I have a leo daughter also, SMLounsbury, would have loved to have seen it on her!
I'd like to try it for a grandchild.

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.
