I love it!

The flasks for the vases is such a great and unique idea. The test tube M&Ms are also fantastic. It looks like it was tons of fun!

I love love love the science theme especially for the centerpieces. Do you have any more photos you can show me? I'm trying to gather my ideas and I would love to do something similar to this.

Also - my finance thinks the meteorite ring is completely awesome so I was wondering how you went about getting that. (and how pricey it was). Any tips you have would be so so so helpful!!

I know it's almost a year later (happy anniversary!) so I hope you still see this post & can reply with any sort of info you can give me!

Thanks so much,

Hi Mary
Sorry for the delay in seeing your post. Anyone with questions can feel free to PM me with questions. Smiley
I dont know if I have anymore pictures of the centerpieces, but if I find some, Ill post them. Basically, it was a huge Erlenmeyer flask with some clear and white marbles (or those half marbles from the dollar store) in the bottom. We had a ribbon around the stem of the flask and my mother-in-law filled them with wildflowers that she grew all summer (including daisies, my favorite.) She placed the flask on some big round thin gauze from a craft store (it was in the wedding section) for a splash of color.
Also on the table were our test tube favors filled with M&Ms. It was my nieces favorite part our of wedding decor. She went from table to table doing shots of chocolate. Smiley
Our table numbers had one side with a scientist or a nurse, and the other side had a trivial pursuit card.
I may have pics of us putting those together. My mother-in-law was in charge of the actual centerpieces, since she has more of a decorative instinct.
The meteorite ring was made by a guy on etsy. I believe I linked him earlier, but if not, let me know. He did a fantastic job. In terms of price, I suppose it was a bit more expensive than the average grooms ring, but certainly not to the same level as MY wedding band. hehehe
Please feel free to PM me with questions and I will try my best to help.
Im glad you enjoyed the pics! Thank you!

Beautiful! I especially love the wildflower centerpieces, you can really tell how much effort she put into them. Smiley
