Couple More Tatted Necklaces

I'm so happy with this one!



Pattern from Agasunset.com. Her pattern calls for seven repeats, but mine ended up at five for a choker size when worked in Size 20 thread with #7 fine needle.



I added a lobster clasp and jump ring to each end picots. I did find a little errata- posted on my blog.

And this is my new tatted cameo key pendant.

Those necklaces are beautiful! I just received a tatting shuttle from someone that was getting rid of it. I have always been interested in learning how to do it. Have you ever done tatting with a shuttle? I wonder how much of a difference there is between shuttle/needle tatting? Anyhow, great job on these. Take care and have a good one.

Wow, they are beautiful.
They remind me of the movie "The Experiment" (very insane creepy movie).
The actor Adrien Brody has a tattoo of a necklace in the movie. It is genius.
I'm thinking about one...but your necklace would probably be better choice for now.  Lol.
Anyway, I love it.

amethyst6 - I haven't tried tatting with a shuttle, yet. I do have a little cheapo one and a book. While you can do pretty much anything a shuttle can do with a needle, somethings seem like they would be easier on a shuttle (two color tatting for instance.) For the basics, needle tatting came easier for me as I'm a knitter but I think it'll be worth learning the shuttle too.

I would wear them all.
The necklace with the key pendant is my favorite.
I discover tatting with your post, I went on the internet to find out how to do it, find some good tutos.
So thanks for that post cause I think tatting could be a good way for me to embelish the clothes I make. I'm currently using parment from clothes that I buy at the trift shop. But now with tatting I can design my own!
