I got TWO international packages today!  Cheesy

First, from Arachnea in Canada I got Mod Podge (Can you believe I haven't used stuff since Jr. High?  I can't wait!), cookie cutters, some homemade envelopes (how in the WORLD did you know I love maps?  I don't think I've said that anywhere!), BIG bag of catnip (which is not in the picture because that cat was driving me crazy as I was trying to lay things out so I gave her a glob out in the living room and forgot to bring it back in), two spools of fancy ribbon, and a sweet extra lovely little fused plastic rainbow!

From Arachnea:

Thank you so much, Arachnea!

And then from edelC in Ireland, I received an ankle-length wrap skirt, bits of fancy ribbons, and 4 long zippers that will be awesome for purse-making!

Action shot of skirt:

(I asked her to leave the hem raw, btw)

Closeup of embroidery and sequins on skirt (hard to capture with camera):

And the ribbons and zippers:

Thank you so much, edelC!

Oh gosh, so glad you liked everything (and it sounds like the cat does, too!) and the extra's. To be honest, I did not know you liked maps, but that makes me extra glad I put some map envelopes in the package for you Smiley

I have received some amazing  things over the past couple of weeks.  Sorry that it has taken me so long to post pics but my computer is so slow that I put things like this off as long as I can.  This doesn't mean that I don't appreciate you craftsters!!

So I received a really cool MythBusters shirt for my bf from AlishaMisha:

Some cool burlap coffee sacks, new thread, a little drawstring satchel and a tea wallet from goddessgarb(what a spoiler:)) :

Awesomeness from sweetyetevil!!!  She sent a coffee cozy adorned with the logo of my friend's coffee house and an appliqued cupcake shirt for my niece:

Thanks to all three of you for sending such amazing things!!!  I appreciate everything and so will the people on my Christmas list;)

Ok, so I think this is the correct round! Claire313 always sends me the best stuff! This time I got a cover for my KA mixer in such pretty prints! I love that it has pockets to hold attachments and books. The fabrics are all perfect!

She also sent me a cute green wristlet, which I think will be perfect in a gift set I'm whipping up for a friend!

Thanks as always for your generosity, Claire!

Thank you phoenixfiredesign, the earring holder has already come in handy!

Cute fabric and a stamp carving kit from zilamonster

(and my first poor attempts)

Thank you zilamonster, I already have plans for the fabric! And I'll keep on carving Smiley

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.

Zilamonster, those fabrics are gorgeous!

And I never think about carving my own stamps, but I need to get on that!

Where do you get such slabs of carving material? I don't know where to get anything to carve with (besides a small eraser) let alone such a big slab!
