My little brother turns 25 today and while we may have had some extreme sibling rivalry growing up, it turns out that, as adults, we are both nerds. One thing we have in common is our love of the Halo machinima, Red vs. Blue. So, for his birthday, I decided to stitch him up the only thing Tucker's alien offspring, Junior, ever really said..."Blarg." For the text, I found an Old English font online and the border is from the Subversive Cross Stitch book. I used two strands of floss (variegated for the border) and 14-count Aida. Finished size is 5 x 7.

"I think 'blarg' means 'me' ... or 'apples.'" - Caboose (click for YouTubey goodness)

Thanks for looking! (Translation: Blarg blarg honk.)

Does it make me a nerd to know what this was just by looking at the thumbnail?

I love Tucker, Caboose, Church, and of course Tex. GO BLUE!!!

But you still have to love Donut, Griff, Sarge, and Simmons.

Awesome job, and it has given me an idea for a Christmas gift for the hubs!

Pressing this rocks! And wisted!

(And if your brother doesn't love it, it can come live at my house.) My coworker and I always say Bleep-Bloop from the gaming PSA.

"I feel dizzy!" XD

Great job, bet he loves it. I haven't watch RvB in a long time. Though I do have Real life vs The internet saved onto my computer. I'll have to go back and check it out again when I get home to my computer.

Thanks to everyone who hit "This Rocks!"  Grin Glad to see I'm not the only RvB fan here. The birthday boy hasn't seen it yet - he thinks I got him a dvd. His fiancee got him a 'Grifball' shirt, so there's a theme building.
