Regency Zombie Dress

Batiste with Voile overlay. It has drawstrings at empire waist, neckline, and sleeves. Discolored/Aged and 'bloodied' with watered-down fabric paints. Torn with my killer 'stitch picker pro'. (Wish I had the time/resources for a live model with make-up...)

(Handprint and torn sleeve of bodice; 'bloody' torn hem)

(back; in different lights, the fabric does appear more 'white' or 'aged')

Oh how cool!! I like how the blood is there but it's not super bright red to overpower, it's a nice balance but still believeable

watered down red fabric paint (splatters better), administered with an old tooth brush; mix with a little brown fabric paint for a more 'realistic' blood colour.

LOVE this!
And I'd definitely wear that dress without the "blood".  Wink

Trust me, as with all young woman of discriminating taste, there is a 'normal' Regency gown hanging in my closet (with bonnet and spencer).
