Queen of Hearts Skirt:

So I am making another of my little cousins a Queen of Hearts costume for Halloween and this is the skirt for the costume. It was pretty simple to make. I just took 4 large red satin panels that have a beautiful raised swirl pattern and alternated them with four black cotton panels that I zigzag stitched on red hearts. Then I hemmed the skirt and put in a draw string waist to make it adjustable and give it some shape.

Its a simple costume that can be paired with a red or black shirt and I might make a little Bolero to go with it in the future if I have time before Halloween.

Did you show me this one? I didn't remember it.

Just a bolero? No elaborate bodice, with lace, etc.  Grin Joking...know you're crazy busy.
