I was very inspired by this months contest, and I made a bag as an entry. After spending more than two weeks working on the bag, I had a bit of separation anxiety once I'd finished it. I just wasn't ready to put Mama down, I guess... So I whipped up this little Amigurumi Mama!

My favorite part is her apron pocket. I'm thinking of making a little spatula and a Wiimote to go in it Smiley

Absolutely precious!
You should make little flames to put over her eyes when you do something wrong. Wink

Adorable!  Looking at her is making me happy.  How did you do her eyes and mouth?  Is it just yarn sewed on?  Is it felt?

It's yarn Smiley I tried some felt to make a big happy smiley mama mouth, but the shape kept coming out wrong, so I went with this face instead Smiley

I feel your pain! When I started making amigurumi, finding that perfect skin color was sooo hard. The skin color I use now is a Bernat Super Value whose color name I can't remember, but I'm pretty certain it's just called peach... I get it at Meijers. Smiley
