Little candy w/pattern (my first!)

So I got it in my head that I needed to make an apple with a razorblade in it for a Halloween decoration. Then it grew from there, and this little guy was born.

He's pretty simple, and would be cute in a candy dish in pastel colors with white twisty paper things for salt-water taffy
(and without the needle, obviously)
I used an F hook and sport-weight yarn because that's what I had on hand. I would've gone down a hook size or used thicker yarn if I could have. Let me know if I haven't done this right, it's my first pattern.
Twisty papers (make 2)
R1: Magic circle 6 sc (6) (leave a long tail on your mc for sewing on)
R2: *sc inc, sc 2* twice (
R3: *sc inc, sc 3* twice (10)
R4: *sc inc, sc* around (15)
R5: *sc inc, sc 2* around (20)
FO, weave end in, set aside.
Main part
R1: Magic circle 6 sc (6)
R2: *sc inc* around (12)
R3: *sc inc, sc* around (18)
R4: *sc inc, sc 2* around (24)
R5: In back loops only, sc around (24)
R6-10: sc 24
R11: In back loops only, *sc2tog, sc2* around (18)
Embroider/attach face, sew on twisty papers (seriously, what ARE those called?), stuff almost to top.
R12: *sc2tog, sc* around (12)
Finish stuffing.
R13: *sc2tog* around
FO, weave in end, scrunch twisties to look natural.
