I keep wanting to knit a hanging kitchen towel for myself and the roommates, but the pattern I have looked up has the instructions for psso - or pass slipped stitch over.  What exactly am I doing?

I know how to slip a stitch....but...huh?

This may help- I find it much easier to follow the videos than just have someone try to explain it. Good luck!

There's another video at knitting help - http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/decreases - but you pass the slip st over the k1 st just like when you bind off.
