game42- I love your package. I love everything. The earrings are so cute. The story of your pendant made me cry. That pin cushion is adorable. I love the embroidery bird. I am glaring at tonistagg for her excellent french knot skills. Cheesy!

I received a wonderful package from Gamemom42 today.  We agreed to swap two items and she really outdid herself!  The first item is an embroidered hoop for my hoopla wall.  I love owls, so this little guy is perfect for me.  I love the fact that he is on a printed fabric.

My next item was a wonderful tea cup pin cushion.  I can't even express how perfect this is for me.  I'm thinking that Gamemom42 is a wonderful stalker!  This pin cushion is the perfect size for my bedside table and much needed as that is where I do all by embroidery in the evening.  As if that wasn't enough --- she added some embroidery thread to my package, which I promise to put to good use in future swaps!

Thanks you so much, Gamemom42!

I got the best swap package today from LadyLeitzen. Girls get your wisting ready.

First, I am sorry for the bad quality of photos. We have a good camera in the home but not the best lighting. I apologize.

I loved the whole swap package. LadyLeitzen made my DH a gift. Some of you know my DH is really into my swapping. He loves to craft. He always helps me with my swaps. He's also a real sweetheart and a keeper. LadyLeitzen wanted to make him something. Besides me nobody has ever made him anything. Imagine our surprise when I read my note and gave him a package to open. LadyL made this:

Am ami Link. OMG! You should have seen my DH's face. He was downright surprised and started smiling from ear to ear. If he wasn't so shy I would take a pic. My DH is a huge Zelda fanatic. I think this is one of his most treasured presents ever. He made a special place on his desk for Link. LadyL he loves Link's hair. He said you have great crocheting skills. Thank you again. I know I wrote a book about this. It was so very sweet.

I am not done. LadyL individually wrapped each thing. I opened up mine to be greeted with these two beauties:

Now, it's my turn to be surprised and I love each item. I absolutely adore the bag. I asked for a book bag. LadyL came through. It's so sturdy inside. The front has two pockets. The lining matches the pocket. It has a gorgeous snap closure. I really adore this bag. I am going to start carrying it tomorrow. It's just completely my personality. I am a big Green girl.

Look at my ami owl! She is so tiny. I hope it's a she. I keep hugging her. I love her. My DH thinks his Link is special. Please, lol. The button eyes are so cute. I never thought about using buttons for Ami.

LadyL said she packaged everything in a cereal box. Here's the proof:

This is really funny but when my DH got the mail he said "Look it's Tasteoo's from Hyvee." We don't have Hyvee's here in the Ozarks. When my DH grew up in KC they do have Hyvee's. This is my DH's favorite cereal, lol.

Thank you LadyL again. It was the perfect swap.

Great package lylacfey.  I just love the little owl ami and Link.  I was trying to make a little ami with crochet today for the first time and must say --- I now have great respect for those that can crochet with thread.  lol  It seems we have an owl theme going on......the bag is wonderful.

tonistagg- Thank you. I love the package. I keep playing with everything. I know what you mean I have a complete respect for ami crafter's. I hope to master it some day.

Everyone just ignore all the typo's in my post. I had a heck of time uploading photos. Took me fifteen minutes since my host wanted to be cranky. I am scared to edit typo's or my pics will disappear. Smiley

I like the owl theme Smiley Wow, you guys really got a lot done! Everyone who have had their partner receive should have basic feedback now (unless I've managed to screw something up). I just focused on getting feedback done and might update comments when it's not half past eleven pm...
