So yeah, it's been a while.
Anyway, I am seriously tempted, but not sure I'll have the time. I am stalking this thread at the very least.

I've been secretly stalking crafster for awhile, and just joined today (unfortunately). This swap makes me wish that I had done it months ago! Of course, not being able to participate due to my newbieness certainly won't stop me from making these for my friends and family (and my own tree, of course!).

And PaperSnipper, I did the same thing, it took me forever to join Craftster and I missed out on some cool swaps! There will be another Steampunk swap soon, probably in January (unless someone else starts one before me!) plus I'm sure once you've been around long enough there will be something awesome to join sooner!

Yes, join us! You made some awesome steampunk stuff in the last swap! Oh, and there's a month and a half (plus a little more) to craft, so everyone can make awesome ornaments!

In crafting news, I got my pattern booklet yesterday! I'm working on a prototype right now (the one I'm keeping for myself) and its taking a bit longer than I thought it would... but its coming out really cool! Its also using more yarn than I thought, but not too much... and now I need to go to the store to find the right size ornament to fit inside. Hopefully one will fit or I'll have to change hook sizes on the next one.

Oh, and only 2 days left to sign up! I'll probably just leave it open until I go to bed (so around midnight Friday) and send out groups Saturday morning. It shouldn't be too hard to make groups, and right now it looks like it might be groups of 5 if 2 more people sign up, otherwise we'll just have to see. It won't be more than 6, and I'm trying to keep it at at least 4 people so we get lots of ornaments!

 I have no willpower. I'm in! It'll be a week before I can start-frantically finishing painting the house while the weather holds out-but I can plot.
