It does depend on the numbers, but I really think there is enough time! Also, you could get started now if you wanted... I plan on making a few (at least the bases, I already know what I'm making and I ordered the pattern online!) beforehand and then just finishing them off when I know what my partners want! Or you could always just make them all the same and not worry too much about partner wishes...   Cheesy

I told myself I wouldn't sign up for any more swaps until after christmas... but this has such a long crafting time... and I'll need something to work on when I'm not working on gifts...

Then again, I don't celebrate Christmas, so I don't have a tree... but it's steampunk!... and I could always make a steampunk tree out of pipes! ... or I could commandeer my mom's tree XD

Oh, decisions, decisions!

I was planning on making a little steampunk tree for my room this year... or just adding to my parent's tree for now!

Ordered the one important part I needed for my idea; I have the other in my stock, so score! Will customize depending on likes and styles, but mine will be very much the same basic thing. I have a ton of gears (both real and craft) and the likes so I think I may be able to keep my purchasing down to under $10 for ribbon and paint and things of that nature! Smiley

I really think mine are going to be very time consuming, but I have to make them. HAVE to! I do have to buy premade ornaments for part of it, but those should be fairly cheap, and the pattern booklet was around $8 with shipping (its from the 80s so I had to search for it), and then I need to buy yarn (which shouldn't be too bad) and I have everything else to decorate them with in my stash I'm sure! I'm expecting them to cost between $5 and $10 each, depending on the amount of yarn I need (I have to wait for the pattern first) which is about what I was expecting!

And yes, join us Pogo! The more the merrier!

I'm making mine from scratch. Cheesy

Important item 1 cost $6 with shipping which, awesome.
Important item 2 I have in my stash from last Christmas and I should have enough to make 5 or 6 of my bases.
It's my "decorative" elements that will absorb most of my money but I have the expensive pieces (the gears!) in my stash, too! Cheesy So hopefully, this will be a low cost swap for me!

Mine is mostly from scratch, it just needs one of those ball ornaments to shape it...
