Ah! So the thing I previous tried making came out wrong- so I'm going to start again soon. I just got a job (my first job) and it has been crazy. Their having me work insane hours. (Till 1:30 tomorrow morning!) and with that and school I have not had a lot of time. My plan is to at least figure out this one thing so I can claim one last thing! If not two more.

October 31!

Wow! Where did October go?

I'm going Trick or Treating with my kids this afternoon. After that, I'll pop "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!" in and bribe them with caramel corn (a Halloween tradition here). Then, I'll start doing feedback for those of you who have completed the swap. Cheesy

Ok, claims are now closed!

I will be working on feedback after we get back from Trick or Treating. Smiley

I'm almost done!!!  a wee bit of sewing, a touch of fabric paint, some handwriting once my question is answered, and I'll be able to send!!!  I sure hope Jennilocker likes it all and thinks it is worth the wait.

I finishe everything yesterday morning:) and now it just has to 'cure' for 48-72 hours, I really don't want it getting wrecked on it's journey, but it feels so good to be done!

Hey Guys!  I got my birthday swap package from Spotnick the other day and have I told you all lately that SPOTNICK IS FRIKKEN' AWESOME!?!?!?!  Grin

For realz!  Check this out!:

Thats what I got in my swap package!  A drop spindle and a book on spinning (Oh man, do I ever love craft books!) and 3 different types of fibre of spin!  THREE!!!  And look how pretty they are!!!  The light blue one is silk!!!  Holy Cow!!!

spotnick, I can't even say thank you enough, cause I got so excited about this present!  It is definitely the best thing I got for my birthday, maybe one of the best things I've ever got!  I'm so excited to start spinning!!!  Cheesy

I am SO happy you like it Kris.  Smiley   I was really hoping you'd like the fiber - you struck me as sort of a bright colors girl.  Cheesy  YAY!

Oh, and I forgot to put in your card that the drop spindle was carved by a local Oregon artist.   Cheesy
