Hi, I am completely new to crafting, so please forgive me if this is in the wrong section! I also did a search, but go so lost.

I got a new bunny I would like to weave some sea/grass/hay/natural fiber mats for, she really likes her 2 beat up ones. However, I have no idea where to start? Where do I get supplies? How do I weave? I am so lost here, its not funny! I dont craft, but think it would be fun for her (and me!)

If you have access to hay, you can probably weave up some mats for her to play with. I've never thought of weaving mats for rabbits. I had rabbits for about 10 years. I can see that they would LOVE it!

Weaving is basically placing fiber in a pattern, it doesn't matter what the fiber is.

Check out this website links for basic weaving information.

(4/13/08) Weaving for children. Try the notched cardboard loom ideas
from Montessoriworld.org. These projects have a simple set up but can be
fabulous! Great ideas for little hands. It even works for grownups!
