I was so very inspired by (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=357513.0 ) sadsilver's post at the end of August that I wisted immediately and started planning my attack.  Without an awesome fabric store to visit I had to make do with the funky dot material instead of a more themed pattern but I think I made up for that with a bit more detail to the skull itself.  This was so much fun to put together and I love the way it looks...here are some pics of the finished product (I can never remember to take pics as I work):

the mustache flips up to reveal storage (also and idea borrowed from sadsilver):

Thanks to sadsilver for the inspiration!
Thanks for looking, comments, questions, suggestions are welcome!

it's approx. 1ft by 1ft square (give or take) and the skull is about 10in high by 4in wide.

thanks for the comments!
