A forum member, lizzypazzy, made a post the other day and I really loved her tattoo. So in an effort to keep up on practicing my stitches, I loosely re-created the tattoo into a simple embroidery to add to my hoopla wall. I'm not entirely happy with the balloon, but I've left the back unfinished until I decide if I want to re-do it. I think I'm leaning towards keeping it, despite the imperfection, because I enjoy the sort of free-handed sketch look.

My lines may not be perfect but I'm quite pleased with her delightfully blasé  face

Note for partners: I have gauged ears, so classic earrings don't really work for me. Smiley
