I found a tutorial months ago by CityCraft and have been itching to make these chairs!  The original tutorial was for adult chairs, but I made kid-sized ones.

I also beefed up the slings with interfacing and adding a layer of low-loft batting (not in the original tutorial).  They came out great!  These are going to be Christmas gifts for my daughters.

You can pick up the chairs ON SALE right now at JC Penney and the slings only took me about an hour in total for the both of them.  Give it a try - you'll be pleased!

You can read more on my blog here: http://sewplicity.blogspot.com/2010/09/tutorial-link-reversible-sling-chair.html

Thanks for looking!

I like! but the chairs are still expensive on sale :-( (i.e., 50 bucks). Any ideas on how to make the frames? or where to get cheaper ones?

I picked up the chairs for $29.00 each at JC Penney, but I suppose you could try ebay or maybe craigslist and look for some used ones.....
