i made a project today .  it will not be for a partner.  tho it originally was.  both hub and i decided that tho it is very very very cool there is not enough contrast. so.  i will  make the exact same thing just tweaked slightly.  and i add another to my wall.  Cheesy

tho it is kinda light on the actual embroidery... there is some.  and it IS in a hoop so it still qualifies right?

Huge hug on being cancer free!

I am finding that a six inch hoop is waaay too small for what I am trying to do.   Back to the drawing board for me.........

I hate when I get half way through a project and decide it just isn't right. Ugh. Starting over again!

*glares at hoop* part I thought would work, is too complicated for my lack of skill. So, I get to unpick, and try again. Luckily Im enjoying it else hoop would be learning to fly  Cheesy

Ok, I have made a decision.... I am NOT looking on the internet anymore for inspiration, I do not want to change my mind again!!! Wink   Tomorrow I am drawing my pattern and making the commitment.

Did I convince everyone that I am done looking? Did I convince myself?  Grin

I believe you Judy! I stopped looking yesterday and finally decided on a design for you. I drew it on fabric, got in a hoop and now i can't decide on colors. You would think with the dozens and dozens of colors of floss i have i could manage, but i think i will be back to the store again Cheesy

I am done stitching & fixing it into the hoop. I just need to neaten up the back, which I will finish this weekend.  Hope to send early next week.
As an aside, despite being a stitcher for years & years I was not really aware of this hoopla thing. I think it's a great idea for a quickish project which can go right up on the wall. I have a ton of completed stitching which I have never bothered to display because framing is so ridiculously expensive, but I think I will now adjust my future projects to conform to hoop sizes.
