the translation is here http://www.iknit.it/crochet-bootiespattern/
thanks :-)

YEAH! Thanks so much! I have been needing some cute slippers so badly. Smiley
I also have a few pairs of shoes where I hated the tops but loved the sole I may stitch or glue a pair of slippers to a sole so I can wear them like the trendy "bootie" shoes that are so popular right now. Smiley

I hope it works! I'd been saving them for sweater boots but finding a sweater that 1.) I'm not allergic to 2.) will felt 3.) will fit my large feet. Is so difficult. I think this is a better option.

I bought some cheap shoes on clearance at least two years ago. They look like these:

I wore them a lot but they got mistaken for slippers all the time so I've saved them for a craft project.

You can also use flip flop soles for the base of your shoes - then you have a huge choice of colors!  This information might have been a bit more useful a month ago but you might still be able to find some in a lonely clearance bin...  (Last time I was at Target they had tons for very cheap - although that was about a month ago...)

I know some of the dollar stores and wal*mart still have them on clearance too. Though not sure if that helps our overseas friends.
