So I've really liked embroidering for a while now, and I decided to go ahead and try it out myself!  My 3 year old LOVES My Neighbor Totoro, so I decided to embroider the picture of Totoro that's the Studio Ghibli logo for him.  It hangs on the wall in his room, and we're both very happy with it!

That turned out perfect!  I love how the thread matches the hoop and how its such a pretty blue color.

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.

Thanks!  I had bought the blue hoop as a replacement for my wooden one my son killed, but liked the color so much that I wanted to embroider Totoro in a similar color, and then I just didn't want to take it out! Smiley

That is awesome!
I love Totoro too and I'm an adult. Actually, all of Miyazakis movies are fantastic.

Oh my gosh, that's so cute! The Heart Mom in the corner is what does it. Really beautiful!

And your 3-year-old has good taste in movies.  Wink
