My "Be Weird" t-shirt shrunk too much, so I turned it into a purse.  I modified the buttercup pattern (no tucks) so it would fit the design, added a tricot interfacing to the back of the t-shirt, then sewed as normal.  I had planned on keeping it, but my daughter pulled the "I would love that for my birthday" trick, so it is now hers.

I remember when those were super popular!  I wanted one so bad but I could never find it in stores (always sold out) but I did have a yellow button of it that I wore almost every day!  This is such a great way to update it!
