I'm not quite sure how or if you want to display any pictures when you recieve, but it might be good if you could take a picture to display your favourite 5 or 6 squares? Share photos of your spoils with us! Also if people want to pick up personal swaps on the back of this swap it would be good to see a sample of other people's materials. If anyone is a fast worker you could even display some of your finished quilt?

DO NOT FORGET TO PM ME AND YOUR PARTNER WHEN YOU HAVE SENT AND WHEN YOU RECIEVE!......thankyou!

Argh!  Here's the thing - quilting is on my "to learn" list, and an I Spy quilt would be first on my project list (I even have one bookmarked that I LOVE!)  Maybe next year I will be a somewhat capable quilter and can join in - sounds like fun!!

Hi thisbirdabsurd,
This swap is for materials only. So you can always join up and collect some supplies so you have a good selection when you start to learn to quilt! If you decide to come in then I'd advise you perhaps coniser one of the larger fabric sizes if you do decide to go in, I'm not sure that 2" squares are a good place to start to learn to quilt!

Ok, so I am on a self-imposed swapping hiatus...but I wouldn't have to buy anything and shipping would be cheap! I'm thinking about it!

Go on MareMare. I think it would probably take an hour max to pick, cut and parcel the material too if you already have a decent stash. Like you say, postage shouldn't cots too much either.

My stash is ridiculous! I actually need to clean/organize my sewing room before I can do anything in there, it's still a mess from mini-quilting. Grin

Before I figure out how to wash it...
Does anyone like Heather Ross prints? I have the Elephants print and some of the Once Upon a Time (1st line) and they are thinner than quilt weight fabric. However, they are GREAT fussy cut fabrics.

I signed up!  I have some neat fabrics that have multiple images on the same background - like different vases or flowers - is it maybe OK to include a couple squares showing different parts?  I wouldn't repeat the same picture of course, and wouldn't repeat for any squares larger than 3".
