Cheshire Cat

My cousin's birthday was yesterday and I just knew I had to try making her my version of a cheshire cat.
I was so pleased with how he came out I'm tempted to make another one for myself!

He's made mostly of wool felt and a sock (and was sewn entirely by hand...I really should make friends with my sewing machine one of these days  ).

My camera was determined to make Cheshire blue...he's actually a really dark wine colored purple.









I had so much fun making this guy! (And am quite proud that I actually finished him in time for her to open it at her party...I always seem to be late with my plushies, lol.)

He is really cute! How big is he? I sew most of my toys by hand, too.
