LADYBLADES!!!

Want to know what she did??

There. She forwared me a package she won at Greenista.com! Organic cottom onesie, pyj, and hats (because there's 2), machine needles, a pattern and I don't know how many yards of that whimsical fabric!

Merrick sporting his new hat! (and he'll be able to wear it a LONG time! It's big enough for Mariann!

In the note she said it's out birth gift... THANKS! It was such a nice, thoughtful surprise I almost cried! <3

now back to regular craft swap chatting....

I posted my "best of" on the blog http://craftstercoven.blogspot.com/2010/09/mabon-swap-roundup.html

Hawkeyes_Girl, do you need a co-org if you have more than 25?? I don't mind helping you (since Saturn is busy with the cards)

oooo I'm in I'm in!!! After a long break from craftster, I finished my study Art therapy and moved around the country. Being settled and quite used to my new (GREEN) living environment I'm starting to have time for hobbies again. YEAH for that! My spinning wheel is settled too just like my stock of wool, textile and crafty goodness. So I'm ready to swap and roll!!!!  Grin

Hello to all. I just wanted to pop in and say hi and let you all know that I've posted a big sample of the crafts that I do in the member's gallery. Here's the link in case you would like to browse.

Maman, thanks so much for the offer! I did already ask Saturn for help but I might ask for more later if it gets too crazy!  Kiss

Monnie, you could either use correspondences to decide using oils for specific  purposes (lavender for sleep, sage for cleansing, etc) for soap, or maybe add herbs or scents when making candles?

Or you could wrap an herbal wrap around the object? Maybe wrap them with spell to imbue them with the properties you want?

I'm just spitballing here.

Hello all! I'm glad that this swap has become so popular!

To maintain quality, I am going to let 2 more people sign up (28 total) and then close sign-ups. I'm sorry to change the setup on this, but I honestly never expected such a large response or so quickly.

I want to maintain the high quality we pride ourselves in in the WWP swaps, so I hope anyone who doesn't make it in time for this one keeps up and signs on for the Yule swap in November.

I hope everyone will understand.

off topic of Samhain (sorta), but does anyone have a favorite online store that they use to get good deals on altar supplies? My go to shop has closed its online store and I am in need of some more chime candles Sad

Not sure what a chime candle is but I get my candles from my local church they have a large selection of candles both beeswax and soy.

Whileitsraining...I have used both http://www.azuregreen.net/ and http://www.isisbooks.com/. And I am pretty sure they both sell chime candles.

I can't believe the turn out for this swap. Woo-hoo. This is going to be a good one. I can't wait for partners. I realized this is my one year in WWP swaps too. Smiley

Chime candles are those overgrown 4 inch birthday candles.  I actually started making my own.  I found I like them better because I can infuse them with different oils if needed.

I have not been in a WWP swap since '09 Beltane, Samhain has always been my favorite.  I just ran into this thread otherwise I might have signed up (no, I do not do Yule ... to many other crafting responsibilities).

I see a couple familiar faces and many new ones ... that is sooooo cool!

Blessed be!
