There is a huge bunch of great swaps going on right now, so I dont know if I should open this one up now or wait? What does everyone think?

I'd be so happy if it were in late June or so, but could probably do it before then, if need be.  There really are a BUNCH of awesome swaps and I don't think I could commit myself to another right now.  But later....that I could do!

I agree about delaying a bit, there are lots of swaps on and I'm in a few, ack!  But, maybe-maybe we can go ahead and sign up and get partnered up, but have the deadline off in the future sometime?  I sometimes need to do lots of pondering the person's preferences before I get good ideas....which usually happens when it's too late!  ha ha

I'm all for the delaying a bit too... then maybe I can even afford shipment, apart from the "having time to craft" -bit Cheesy

Ah! I love reading and all these librarians talking makes me want to become one...

Ideas are formulating in my head for things to make.
But first I must get enough posts to get in on this swap ::grr, stupid internet shyness::

Non-librarians can get in on this, right?

I would also vote for delaying it a bit...maybe sometime in July would be good.  Why are there so many good swaps right now?

I would love to join! Being semi-unemployed (like kinda pregenant,I know. But I barely work 2 days a week) Im scouring the library and lurking on craft swaps on here. Im good for now or later. Would you be limiting the number of items swapped?

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing... I didn't manage to score a summer job during school break now, so I'm poor (shipment is expensive here), and there's like a billion swaps I wanna do... Grin

I just finished making a lined, STRONG tote to carry my books back and forth to and from the library.  Put a pocket to keep the library card and keys so I don't have to carry a handbag and those six or seven books each week.  I would love to make another one for someone and maybe some ribbony, lacy bookmarks---Yes, I'm in.

I would love to see how that tote turned out. I'm in need for something exactly like that. Either I forget to bring my library card and the librarian gets mad at me, or I have to lug 7 books, a baby in a stroller and a handbag on a 2 mile walk through town to the library.
It came out ok.  I made it deep,a nd as wide as a a fairly standard soze book length wide. Holds 3 books on their spine in the bottom and three more on top or 4 if not too thick.  I lined it for extra strength and added two pockets near the top so my card, keys are easy to find.  Sounds like you need one.  Maybe will can get paired when this swa[ goes.
