I've got to finish miscellaneous crafting projects by then so I'll be freed up to spend all my time on this. I've been thinking about this swap while working. Helps get me through those looong afternoon hours.  Smiley

Noooooooooooooo, not so soon.  I am currently in my first swap and I really want to do this one but can't until I finish that one.  Make it a very very long signup period.  I would love you forever.

Aghh!  I can't wait for this swap to begin.  I love books the way some people love Jello- there's always room for more!  I'm not a librarian, but I am an English Lit major, and, trust me, we can party with the best of 'em.

Whoa!  I wonder how many librarian/future librarians are on Craftster?  I'm applying to Chapel Hill for Library School this summer.  Everyone wish me luck! (the GRE's scare me).  And I am DEFINATELY going to participate in this swap.

Thanks!  Two of the reference librarians where i'm doing my undergrad graduated from that program.  I'm really hopefull of getting accepted, I work in the library now for my workstudy and I'm doing an internship this semester at the Biltmore House www.biltmore.com with special collections.  We're cataloging George Vanderbilts books!  How cool is that!  I start tomorrow, I'm tres excited!
I'll definately check out their overseas programs, thanks for the tip!

I graduated from Indiana in May and work in visual resources. I love it! Your new job at Biltmore sounds awesome! I'm sure you'll get in to Chapel Hill, and that experience helps SO much! If I'd known about their Oxford and Prague programs I'd have planned ahead and gone for sure.

Get out!  I'm in our Media department also...and I LOVE it.  vtgirl - all the best to you!  Preparing for the GRE is a beast -but I was there once (extreme test anxiety) so I know the pressure.  I'm sure you'll do fine.  I totally got Lucky.  Madison's program didn't require the GRE if your GPA was higher than 3.0 or something.  I would still be trying to pass that test today if I hadn't found the SLIS program in Wisc.

Hey- is anyone going to PLA in Boston?  Maybe we could get together for an evening and say hi to Leah at her store?
