This sounds awesome! My only problem is that I NEVER have milk. When I do purchase milk, it always ends up going bad before I use it all.  Sad Will it work if I just use water instead?

Not sure what kefir is...probably something that I cannot find in Alabama!

ta-da!
I made it. i used extra sugar because our cocoa powder that I found (I later found a sweet one) was grossly unsweetened and bitter. I added a bit of strawberry extract to add a good scent, And since I have HUGE eggs, I used a bit less then half and egg, scrambling it in a separate bowl, then pouring in, also a microwaved it a bit less because I like moist cake. Sorry I forked through it before the picture, I was checking to see if it was fully baked.
YUM!

should work, i actually have seen recipes for this cake with water, so you basically just need liquid (though any type of milk is better than water)

Cocoa powder is generally supposed to be unsweetened and bitter--that's why recipes that include cocoa powder pretty much always include sugar, too  c( ;

I just made my own cake-in-a-cup with all of the main ingredients, then hot fudge (the kind supposed to be used as a dessert topping), cinnamon, and Greek honey--delicious!  Cheesy
