So, I actually finished this a week or two ago, but I didn't get around to posting pictures until just now. Cheesy

I wanted to teach myself how to crochet, and what better way than jumping straight into a giant project? xD

The first granny square I made for this took an hour. The next took half an hour. 140 squares later, I got it down to 6-12 minutes a square. I am officially a granny square pro.

I hated a couple of the original colors of the blanket as seen in The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller, like that ugly mint green. Not that I hate mint green, but if you've actually seen a color bar, you know that all the colors are NEON. So, I tried to stay true to that. I looked up a different picture online and copied that instead.

Here is the finished project! About five feet long, three feet wide. Ish. Sooo warm and cooooozy. Mostly Red Heart, a couple Simply Vera's for the dark dark blue and the dark purple.

It's easy! I didn't want to waste time learning to crochet by making something like a scarf. I'm too impatient. So I was like, OKAY GRANNY SQUARES, LET'S GO! *epic fight music*
