Nuttier than a squirrel's turd

I suppose I should post these under "Halloween" although I love sugar skulls all year round. Halloween is my favorite time of year. The decorations, themes, and styles are all my favorite, the weather here in New England is perfect, not to mention the changing of the leaves, but the fact that my birthday is just 2 days before Halloween probably has something to do with it.
Here are some of the first three skulls that I have painted this year:

And some unfinished statuettes:

The first skull is my favorite! I like the designs you used, especially the spider webs- gives it a bit of a Halloween touch.  Smiley I would display these year-round in my house!

Will you be creating an ofrenda (sp?) to display these for Dia de Los Muertos?

Thanks! The first one is also my favorite.
I don't actually like the last one, but it was a quickie and not my own design.  The third one was hard because the face is shaped weird. I have been experimenting with molds, paper-mache and various skull designs and I am not having the luck that I was hoping for so far.
I do not think I will be setting up an ofrenda this year because I do not have the room inside my house. If my shop is ready in time I have plans to set something of the like up there.

I thought these skulls from Oriental Trading could work too, if you prime them first. I bet these would male an amazing Halloween party decoration if you painted them with neon blacklight paint. http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/browse/processRequest.do?demandPrefix=12&sku=70/1653&mode=Searching&erec=3&D=foam+skull&Ntx=mode%2bmatchallpartial&Ntk=all&requestURI=processProductsCatalog&N=0&y=0&Ntt=foam+skull&Dx=mode%2bmatchallpartial&x=0&sd=Skulls
