Here is the one tiny thing I sent to rhapsody. Two of her themes were illuminated letters and the Anglo-Saxons (where she pointed out an interested in the Lindisfarne Gospels).

I made an embroidered illuminated lettter M coin purse:


That was based on one from the Lindisfarne Gospels:

Wow! I haven't been looking into Anglo-Saxon of that period yet, I can't believe the awesome animal style! What a discovery! Great purse theme we have in this swap Grin What a gorgeous thing to stitch on a purse!
