JK Rowling Book Reading/Signing Layout

I was lucky to attend a book reading/signing with JK Rowling at Carnegie Hall in New York - - I created this scrap page about the experience

Some special notes about this layout:
I found a Harry Potter font online, printed it on cardstock and cut the letters out by hand. I cut the image of Hedwig the owl from a children’s poster, adhered it to chipboard and then used Helmar Crackle Medium on it. I fashioned the Gryffindor House banner out of felt, fabric and embroidery floss, I found the image online but really wanted it on fabric. So, using Helmar V2 spray I attached a piece of fabric to cardstock and ran it through my printer. The book page is from a 1915 textbook called “Chief Contemporary Dramatists” that I found at a thrift store. The feather, pressed flower, owl and banner all represent different things from the Harry Potter books. On the edges of my cardstock, I used Tattered Angel masks and ink.

One of my favorite LO's ever. I am so jealous, in a great way, that you met my hero. You have some amazing cutting skills. I have that font and I can't even get it to cut that pretty on my die cut machines.
