so i came across a my little pony that had been repainted. has anyone else had any experience with creative my little pony reconstruction? i just got some ideas and looked at ordering a vintage one on ebay to work with. i was just wondering if this is something that anyone else actually works with?

I have two sitting on my desk waiting to be modified - just waiting on the apoxie sculpt to arrive!

It's a fairly popular hobby from what I can tell, with some people doing truly incredible things with them. If you look over at deviantart (http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=custom+my+little+pony) there are a lot of examples of what people are doing. And if you are interested in diving in and making a custom, there are some tutorials on dA as well (http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=custom+my+little+pony+tutorial) and on other sites like this one (http://www.aikarin.com/mlp/customs/customtutorials.html)

You're welcome!

ebay is a good way to get them cheaply - I just picked up a couple new, which at $10 a pop for a small pony isn't the most economical way to go, lol.

I am about halfway done and I have to say it is ridiculous amounts of fun! I will definitely be posting pics when they're done -- I hope you do the  same!!

If you go to thrift stores you can get cheap toys to mod, and there's no shipping costs!
