I've been making bookmarks from security envelopes for a while and this week I saw some other projects online using them, too!  Great minds!  Here are my latest... hope you like them! Smiley I decorated them with round, colored file stickers and skinny black masking tape. They remind me a bit of Frank Lloyd Wright stuff... anyone else?

The first one is made from a security envelope with letters instead of a print inside...

So, I doodled on the back...

One window...

I think I like the patterned insides better...

Another double window... (the colors are truest in this photo)

the back...

C&C welcome and appreciated! Smiley

Those look awesome! Do they hold up well?  I know how flimsy those security envelope windows can be!  Awesome idea, though! Great way to use up the junk mail!!

Thanks!  I think I'm going to cover the first one with clear packing tape as it's a bit flimsy.  But since the other two have masking taped edges and masking taped "supports", in addition to the layer of dot stickers, they're a bit sturdier.  The first one I made a year ago is still in use, so, I'd say they hold up pretty well! Yet another good reason for me to keep collecting all these security envelopes!
Great idea!

These are really cool! I absolutely love your drawing on the one with the orange circles. And they do seem very Frank Lloyd Wright-ish. I also make bookmarks (will have to post them sometime). Never would have occurred to me before seeing yours.
