This is beyond lovely.  I think the fill on the skirt looks nice, it makes it seem like a flowing fabric.  Very nice job!!!

What a great idea to embroider a paper doll. There's so many beautiful ones out there. My favs were the Campbell soup kids, when I was a child. The rose is a bullion rose, and I like the ripples effect you got with the satin stitch on the skirt. If you wanted a look of less folds, you could use a long and short stitch, but I really like the way this turned out. Congrats on finishing it!
