Hi,

I haven't posted in aaaages, so long that I'd forgotten how to do it, then realised I'd been logged out of the website, tho I look at it most days, then I couldn't remember my login etc etc. Anyway, this is something I started probably way back in March, I got about 90% of it done then ran out of steam. My bf said that I keep not finishing things so I got back to it last week and finished it in about 20minutes! It's a copy of a Tom Tierney paper doll design. I loved Tierney's paper dolls when I was a kid and have recently rediscovered them. I also emailed his website and promised to send them a picture once it was finished, so now, 7 months later I can finally do that!

I used a variety of stitches, cross, satin, back stitch, a little bit of laid and couch and also a knotted rose which I think has the word bullion in the title but I can't remember. I hope you like it. She's pretty big, probably about 8 or 9 inches tall, the skirt took forever and I've since learned a better filling in stitch that i could've used as I'm not sure about the wavy lines. Sorry about the scan quality, it's a new scanner and I couldn't get the fabric straight.

I think I'm going to turn her into a cushion or maybe I'll just frame her I'm not sure...

I hope you like it.  Smiley

Beautiful!  I'm a horrible finisher too.  I have a "pointy kitty" that is all sewn and stuffed but its been waiting for a face for months.

She is so gorgeous! And that face, so pretty! What stitch did you use for the sleeves?
