I bought a $2 t-shirt the other day because, well it was two dollars. It fit well and I liked the color, but it was very plain. So I decided I needed to do something to spruce it up a bit.
I decided to try my hand at embroidery.  I have been cross-stitching for some time now and embroidery seemed like the next step. I found a cute little turtle picture from an online coloring page and set to work.

He turned out so cute that now I actually kind of love this shirt! Cheesy
Behold the cuteness:

Thanks everyone. It was so much fun to make. I will have to start keeping an eye out for cheap shirts just for this purpose.

Nice work!  I know how hard it is to embroider on knit!  You didn't get it all puckery or anything!  Impressive.  And the turtle is pretty cute, too!
