Wow! I'm just blown away by all of these gorgeous books! I'm so inspired by everyone's work that I think I'm going to make myself a tiny book (or 5!). And I can't wait for round 2!  Wink

Firstly I want to apologise for being so slow in posting these pics up in the gallery. Long story short I've been working overtime at 2 jobs and barely had time to eat!

I want to say thank you to my awesome partner xTabsx I know she had major swap anxiety about her book but I love it I think it's beautiful it's everything I love in one small place!

Here's my fantastic book, filled with drama, pin-ups and Alice in Wonderland!

These are my 2 favourite pages:

and the rest I've thumbnailed if you want a closer look  Wink

And she also sent me this awesome mask as an extra!! I love it, I collect them so love to get a new one!!

And now, for your viewing pleasure/jealousy,  Cheesy I bring you...my new tiny book from camelama!

international stamps and illustration inside front cover:

She turned the binding thread into an attached bookmark with beautiful stone chip beads.

She took my likings of "things that inspire wonder/adventure", vintage, women, "voyages into the unknown", and ran with them to make this book of MANY many pages of inspiration and joy. It is absolutely perfect. There are so many pages I can't pick one favorite, of course, but here are some!

There's room for me to add little ticket stubs and photos someday if I have related experiences. And the last several pages are blank so that I can add more as I go about my journeys and adventures.  Grin This book is *so* "me" and I am going to treasure it 'til it disintegrates. And if it lasts longer than I do, it's going to be passed down to the next generation of book-loving wanderers.  Smiley Thank you so much camelama!!

PS - She also sent me a wonderful local cherry chocolate bar (which is long gone now, of course) and several blank greeting cards to use in the future. Sorry to forget mentioning those!

 Grin Grin Grin

I think the cute snowshoe gal is my favorite. Reminds me of my Mom growing up in Minnesota and snowshoeing up in the Boundary Waters area. Cheesy

I loved doing the coptic binding, but learned in the process that yeah, your book boards (covers) have to be strong enough to take all the tugging and pulling. Oops.  Roll Eyes

I received an awesome Halloween cookbook from chrissycrafts! Cheesy  (I apologize if this is pic obese -- I don't know how to do the smaller thumbnail pics. Also, my scanner is kind of craptastic, so these aren't doing justice to the fun of this book!)

First, the cover:

Pages 2-3:

Next, we have "cat vomit chilli" (will never look at chilli again the same way...):

Then, there's a recipe for "sun blistered carcass":

"Baked fermented brains" (mmm... brains!):

"Mouse droppings":

"Coagulated bat's blood":

Inside back cover:

Thank you so much chrissycrafts!  This was such a fun swap! I will be making some "sun-blistered carcass" and "baked fermented brains" for my husband soon... but I won't tell him what they are!  Roll Eyes
