Inspired by the nintendo purse I decided to make my own nintendo bag, but instead of a purse, I made a messenger bag with the design of the controller on the flap. This was my first attempt ever at making a bag of any sorts. I made my own pattern and kind of figured out how to do things as I went (like the piping)

The front:

You can see the piping I did along the flap as well as the front (it's on the back too, it's just not visible in this photo) The pocket on the side is for my cell phone, though it's big enough to put my digital camera in if I needed to.

Under the flap:

The red rectangle is for putting an id or "this bag belongs to" tag into. The other pockets are just for pens or pencils or whatever else could fit. You can see the bottom part of the fastners there too.

The inside of the bag is lined with black cotton twill and has three pockets in it (two that close with velcro) My camera was being tempramental and didn't want to take decent photos of the inside.

The general reaction to the bag was to try to press the buttons  Grin

I can! IN fact, I plan on making more messenger bags, though I think I'll make them out of of heavy cotton instead of vinyl but I'll be making them in the exact same way, with piping and everything but with a stamp or stencil instead of a nintendo controller. If you want I could always include how I made the controller though  Smiley
