She turns 13 on the 23rd and loves anything horror related, always has! So this year for her birthday I decided she needed a OOAK horror baby doll to join her collection of the undead! I bought a regular doll from my local Walmart and set to him with acrylic paints, some sculpey, fabric dye, and sealer (aka watered down modpodge  Tongue ) and ended up here  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Oh Hello dead demon baby doll!

Before he met with a tragic end  Undecided

Painting on some shading and decomp spots.

End results  Grin

If you want to see more of my crazy progress pics you can check it out over here: http://ninjarobotthoughts.blogspot.com/2010/09/shhhhh-its-secret.html

Thanks for looking!  Kiss Cross your fingers and hope she loves the little beastie!

Amazing! I'm sure she'll love it. From the first pic it almost looks like the baby bit off his own thumb!

Bahaha I should have done that. . that would have been too funny. Thanks Smiley I think I might try more variations when I have more crafting time. It was actually a lot of fun transforming him.

I thought it was one of those autopsy babies when I saw it. It's very creepy - good job. Smiley

Man, I wish my mom gave me cool things like that when I was 13! I think I got a "make your own jewelry" kit from the dollar store.  Angry

It even has an evil little plushie! Awwww...

Cool daughter...and even COOLER mom for making something so AWESOME!!!  My mom wouldn't even let me watch horror movies, so I had to sneak horror time in when she wasn't around...I guess I can thank her, though, because it turned me into a horror nut!!!  I want this for MY collection!!!

Thanks ladies  Smiley I always loved horror as a young girl myself so I definitely understand her love of all things creepy. I have been told many times how crazy I am for allowing her to watch the movies and own things like this from the time she was little. Honestly though, I think the thing is if she knows it's all artful effects and the point is entertainment only, then what does it hurt? It didn't warp me. . . .much LOL  Grin Grin Grin
