So I recently started going to Zumba (and LOVE it!) but I'm typically used to going to the gym in ugly shorts and a baggy T shirt.  Everyone else in my class wears those cute yoga pants/spandex leggings that as a graduate student I can't afford.

So I went to Goodwill and got a Men's Tshirt that was awful ugly in pattern by itself and made these!  I should have taken a before picture, but I really thought there was NO way they would turn out useful at all.

next time I'll make a wider waist band and get a stretchier shirt, but I'm not sure how well these will hold up, but enough talking!

Let me know what you think!

Oh yeah!! I forgot to include it!

I followed this tutorial for making them, it was much easier than I thought!

at the end I ended up fitting them a little better to myself, bc the hips were oddly shaped, but it could be bc I didnt' sew in a straight line lol

Hi.  I've been taking a SENIOR Zumba class called ZUMBA GOLD and now I wish I could sew.  The pants are great, particularly the rear where all the Zumbal action is.  Good recon!  CMV

Haha, I joined a Zumba class last week and didn't have any "workout" clothes so I did the same thing with a t-shirt left over from VBS!  I think mine are the same color blue!  Great minds think alike!
