After a hard days knitting, I am back at the same number of rows as before my little disaster. Not as keen though. I could be twice as far along.

Woohoo Sansa!!

Bring on the candies!!  Smiley  Who can turn down treats?!!  Smiley

Day 1 of my friend's visit and having a blast.  I am thinking of you partner and working out the details in my head.  Maybe I need to try doing this with some sort of mudslide like help.  Smiley  After reading Ptarmic's message I have that word stuck in my head.  I wonder if a mudslide is anything like an OREOSpeedwagon?

I'm one of the people who would say be careful with treats. I'm seriously allergic to honey. Boo.

I love the treats, as long as they aren't sour, TOO syrupy-sweet, or hot (like Atomic Fireballs or those candies that get dipped in chili powder).  Smiley

OREOSpeedwagon?! I haven't heard of that one, but yum, I can only imagine! And I got a nice chuckle that PW was drinking-and-craftstering last night.  Cheesy

Sorry this project is giving you such a bad time, Sansa! You know whichever one of us receives it will appreciate all the trouble you've gone to, but if it keeps being troublesome you're free to toss it out the window, as well!

There is a recipe for lazy egg nog that basically involves allowing a half gallon of ice cream to melt and then pouring in an entire bottle of Kahlua....

omg i wanna try all of those!

probably going to make my special mulled wine this year by request from my work pals..working xmas eve will be interesting, lol. reminds me of this email that just went around......

Once again this year, I’ve had requests for my Tequila Christmas Cake recipe so here goes:

Please keep in your files as I am beginning to get tired of typing this up every year!

1 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup water
1 tsp. salt
1 cup brown sugar
Lemon juice
4 large eggs
Nuts
1 bottle tequila
2 cups dried fruit

Sample the tequila to check quality Take a large bowl; check the tequila again to be sure it is of the highest quality..

Repeat.

Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of sugar. Beat again.

At this point, it is best to make sure the tequila is still OK. Try another cup just in case.

Turn off the mixerer thingy.

Break 2 eegs and add to the bowl and chuck iin the cup of dried fruit.
Pick the fruit up off the floor.

Mix on the turner.

If the fried druit getas stuck in the beaterers, just pry it loose with a drewscriver.

Sample the tequila to test for tonsisticity.

Next, sift 2 cups of salt, or something.

Check the tequila.  Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.

Add one table.  Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.

Greash the oven.

Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.

Don't forget to beat off the turner

Finally, throw the bowl through the window.
Finish the tequila and wipe the counter with the cat.

Cherry Christmas
