I'm halfway through in terms of the number of items, but I'm saving the hardest/longest one for last. Since it is a keep-adding-bling sort of item, it will be done when I run out of time Smiley

I'm chugging along with my projects for my partner (whom I'm really glad to craft for Cheesy).  A couple of smalls have been completed, and I'm about 90% done with a not-so-small item...and a few other size-to-be-determined items are also in the works.  Is that sufficiently vague? Grin  Anyhow, I'm glad we still have a few weeks till sendouts!!

Woohoo!!  I'm done with my large!  Smiley  It took me longer than I thought, but it's done! Grin Grin  Now I'll see if I can't round up a few little extras.  Things are really getting crazy here so I need to craft while I can.  I must say that I really love this last thing I made.  I hope my partner loves it as much as I do!   Grin

Finished something that I started a while ago, and started the really complicated one. It may take forever.  The only other thing I have planned needs to wait until I can get some tinsel icicles, which I expect will happen after the halloween stock moves off of the shelves and the holiday stuff moves in (about 12 hours from now).

When I was in Target 2 days ago, the Christmas stuff was already out and the Halloween stuff had already started being marked down...

Mmmm, tomorrow will be candy clearance day!!  Grin My face is starting to break out in advance, knowing how much chocolate's going to come its way!

One of the items I'm working on for this swap is perplexing me, because I don't know how much to finish it. Ok, since you don't know who my partner is, I can say it's a book kind of thing (everyone gets some kind of book from me, eventually  Roll Eyes), and I could leave it entirely blank for the recipient to make it exactly what she wants, or I could fill it with thoughtful stuff I think she'd like. I'll keep grappling with that. Another item I'm planning hasn't begun yet, but I did print out a large picture she once posted that makes me giggle, and I'm going to incorporate it in somehow.  Cheesy

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Graduated from library school! That sums things up for now.

organizer's note

Christmas elves:  the next time you take a little break from crafting to have some hot chocolate (with a candy cane hooked over the edge of the cup), please take a moment to PM your group leader with a quick check-in

Remember to PM ONLY YOUR group leader (see the groups lists on the 1st page).  Please title your PM "STS Holiday Check-In".

THANK YOU!

Wow, that's crazy!  We haven't even had Thanksgiving yet.  I'm on the Christmas party committee at Lana's school and I can't wait to start crafting for them!!  Maybe I'll start now in between making some little extras.

Calluna, I'm sure either way your lucky partner will love it! Smiley

Off to check in! Tongue

Checked in!

Halloween has been such a drag for me, no chocolate, BOOOOOO!  I have stashed away a bunch from Q's haul for when I can go back on the dairy.
