Aaaahh! I love it!
I am pregnant and just found out that I cannot eat sushi (well, I can eat the vegetarian ones, but really I love the ones with raw fish) and let me tell you that this is a great treat to see a friend doing this for a fellow sushi misser! I will now e-mail this photo to all of my friends as a subtle reminder.

Way clever they make me drool just looking at them. I never thought of making sweety sushi I may have to give it a go Iv only recently gottn into maing real sushi and am a bit hooked.
Why did being pregnat stop your friend eating sushi if thats not too stupid a question.

Because like caffeine, raw fish isn't good for pregnant women to eat.

Ahhh I didnt realise that.
Got to say I dont use actual raw fish in my sushi im too scared I might mess it up and poisen someone but i do make them with prawns tomago i think its called ? (the sweet omlet stuff) smoked salmon and vegetables. In fact iv recently been experimenting with western fusion sushi I was asked to cater for my uncles Wedding with sushi but the bride doesn't like sea food so I made sausage and whole grain mustard hosumaki as well as wafferthing ham and mayo ones and egg & bacon and a few others they went down a treat my faves had to be the smoked salmon cream chease and chive ones and the sausage and whole grain mustar ones turned out shockingly good.
