Hello everyone,

Long ago I started to knit a small cotton sackboy, but I only got as far as one arm. I took a couple of pictures and posted them on FB.

Some people told me it was a cute way to keep a WIP. So far so good.

Recently, a few friends said in all seriousness that those pictures creep them out.

Is it that bad?

EDIT: I'm posting it here because even though it's not a complete Sackboy I like the way it looks now as a decorative object on my bedside table and I plan to keep it that way Tongue

Lol, I love it! It is a little bit creepy, but I think it looks quite artistic! Smiley

It's great! It's like a creature is crocheting itself from the middle of the ball! I'd leave it as is.

I love this!  I'd be tempted to attach a hook to the hand somehow.

Creepy OR cute? Creepy AND cute, of course. You've got to break away from that dualistic mode of thinking!

So often the key thing is to know when something's finished, and you obviously knew it was done when you made the arm, so you "just never got around to finishing it". I'm so glad you've decided to leave it as it is!

It looks like something got caught in the yarnball, and is trying to escape!  Grin

i really like it as just a WIP!!
it really makes you think like...is he being made from the yarn or being turned back into a ball of yarn?...whatever it is, he's grasping for something.
its creepy but...i like creepy, lol!
