These are absolutely incredible. I'm a massive D&D freak, and I have aspirations to make a complete continent for my characters (even though I've never done anything like this before). I was thinking of using paper mache to make the terrain, but I"m a little terrified of all the little houses and ruins and villages. Sooo much time....

these are just FANTASTIC!
the detail is amazing; especially considering the scale at which you're working - you have a real eye for it.

jealous jealous jealous
when my husband got into warhammer a few years ago I started to learn how to do this...and then we moved, and it all got thrown away, even my orc hideout - so sad.
I wanted, desperately, to get to the point where my looked like yours.  I even started a swamp.  Until you sit down with the insulation foam and a blade you just don't get how difficult it is.  Have you tried using the hot wire cutter?  I never got quite coordinated enough.
Anywho, thanks for sharing your work; it really is amazing.

You are very skilled and inventive. I know some AD&D players who would flip for these. I like them alot too as they remind of the landscapes in Diablo!
Keep carving!

Oh wow those are amazing! You can see how much work went into them by how detailed everything is. Definitely worth the time I'd say!

Oooh, post more!

I always wanted to take up playing warhammer just to make all the cool terrain. I even went as far as making a few pieces for friends who played, but just couldn't get into the game itself.
