So, here is my VBI wristlet, following deruyter's tute (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=358767.0)

The outside zipper was the biggest pain in the ankles, and I'm so glad I laminated the fabric first. I bled a lot during and after the pinning. My sewing machine needed CPR twice during the process (once, because one of my pooches wanted to help and plopped down on the foot....argh  Roll Eyes)

I got the fabric on etsy by showpony....LOOOOOVE it

I decided to go with only one ID holder on the outside and a bigger coin zipper on the inside.

Accordion bill holder. Hello Presibama Smiley

Secret pocket for those heavier days o' the month Tongue

I had a lot of spine for some reason and at the same time was annoyed by having to find chapstick....and thought....ROOM FOR A SECRET CHAPSTICK POCKET  Grin

I added a strap to the outside pocket so my phone won't fall out.

Thank you deruyter2008 for putting up that tute. I love my new wristlet!!!!

It's brilliant! Grin  I'm so glad you found a way to add MORE pockets!  Did I mention I love pockets? Roll Eyes  The chap idea is great, I'm totally gonna start doing that now  Cheesy  I'd love to see a pic of that strap for the phone pocket, not sure exactly what you mean by that.  And thanks for making it so speedily and giving us all pics so fast, it's amazing how satisfying it is to see someone reinterpret your design! Cheesy

Looks great! I saw that tute and thought to myself, "I should totally make one of those, I could really use it." But alas, it got added to the already lengthy list of craft things that I'm making.... one day.

Secret Chapstick pocket!  Awesome.

And isn't it always rewarding when an "oops" becomes an "Awesome!"
