I finally finished another project!  My cousin is having a baby so instead of going out and buying baby gifts, I figured I'd make her something.  Only problem is, shortly after I started these, I had to have emergency surgery and couldn't crochet more than a few rows at a time without getting dizzy or nauseous (I HATE antibiotics more than anything  Angry)

So finally, several weeks later I've finally finished the octopods!  I used a slightly altered version of PepperKitty's Octopode Pandemonium! pattern that is posted in the patterns section.  Onto pics..

hanging out on my LOST boxset, which was fantastic entertainment during recovery!

and a size comparison of the two...

the lime greenish one is following PepperKitty's pattern for the body, just making the legs longer.  the turquoise one I made slightly larger, but still followed the basis of the pattern.
