Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a free pattern for a "Matrix" style sweater (with or without holes-don't matter).  I know there is one in "Hollywood Knits", but I don't really want to buy a whole book-especially one that people have said is sized for the emaciated ;-)  Any help would be great.  Thanks!

Aren't they just a basic sweater with a wrapped yarn technique?
I am a fairly "new" knitter so I am not sure if that is what its really called.
"new" meaning i have knitted on and off for 30 years, but can't remember how to do it from one day to the next.

i'm looking for the same- with holes. i was pretty sure it was just a straight up sweater with some holes. i am wrong? i was gonna (once i figured out to holes) do the whole thing in a stockinette stitch. tube. two sleeves. i'll keep checking back. i wish the thread luck.

I thought the hole thing was called a drop stitch - but of course I can't find anything on how to do it.

simple knits with a twist has a men's sweater pattern similar to what you're asking about, the book is fairly priced and has alot of other cool patterns, but this one really resembles the matrix sweater.
