Okay, here's the idea...I want to create a swap that is low-stress but still super fun. I know we all have a list of books we want about a mile long as well as some we are done with. So here's what I am thinking....

In order to swap, you must have one of these;
1. A wist with books on it
2. An Amazon or similar wishlist
3. A readiness to recieve any random book

Each person would send a package with;
1. One new or used (in good and complete condition) craft book the reciever wants
2. Craft supply/supplies related to the projects in the book, equal to a medium
3. One medium or two small crafted based on partner's likes

In the survey, I would have a space for "top five books you want" as well as "books you have and want to pass on". Hopefully, I could find some matches and pair people up accordingly. My thoughts on timeframe is give everyone one month to get the package ready. That way, it is low pressure and gives people time in case they buy a book online. Also, I would definately organize it. So give me some feedback!

Yes. please. I buy/swap/receive lots of books and do not have the time to make something from each one.

I forgot to say this earlier. If I do go ahead with this swap, I will PM everyone who expressed interest letting them know.

My understanding is the mods prefer something to be crafted, so maybe we would send the book and one crafted item? Not meaning to butt in, I love craft books.

Ooh, I'm a craft book addict. I'd be into this swap! (Although it DOES depend on timing for me, but I can't say what timing would be best...)

I certainly have a few I wouldn't mind passing on, but most of those are older, not-well-known books. Perhaps in addition to the Books you Have/Want lists could be TYPES of Books You Have/Want - as in what craft they are for.
